Vasily Kandinsky, Landscape with Two Poplars, 1912. Oil on canvas. Printed from a public-domain museum image. The work itself is unchanged; where the shape needs more room, a plain margin was added around it, or on some prints more of a calm sky or sea, filled in digitally. Source: Vasily Kandinsky.
